Toss it Away? No way!
Now is the time for all good people to gather a couple things that need fixing, adjusting, sharpening, gluing, mending from your closet, attic or storage space! The next Repair Cafe is fast approaching : May 3, 1-4 in Greenport's Floyd Memorial Library.
So far we have volunteers with bike repair skills, clothes/sweater repair, glue and sharpening skills.
We still need people who can help with electrical, jewelry, wood repairs, pottery repair.
If you've never been to a Repair Cafe get ready to learn some hands on skills as you help the coach examine, disassemble, troubleshoot and try to fix your item. Feel good about saving money while saving useful things from being thrown into our overfull Dumping grounds. . It's also a fun way to meet and brianstorm w strangers and be part of the Fixer and right to repair movement.

If you'd like to volunteer in general ( bring goodies?) or as a coach with some skills and tools to bring along, please email Margaret@nfec1.org with how you'd like to help...Thank you so much in advance.
